Morning Jewels

I love finding the roses in the morning fresh with dew, this one especially reminded me of a sunrise.  I am getting ready to be pit boss on the Traeger Grill this afternoon, roommates son is coming to trim our vigorous hedges, so we have to feed him.  It will be brats and fire roasted corn on the cob, yum already hungry.  Hope everyone shines today and while your at it smile at someone,  Hugs

When breakfast turns into an art project.

For Christmas I received an Insta Pot and for six months have been giving it a real work out, my favorite thing about it is the fact that I am able to fix meals without heating up the kitchen to an unbearable temperature and the speed at which it does this is amazing, my roommate calls it the Miracle Pot, lol.  I have been doing egg bites for breakfast almost since day one and I love them.  The other morning I decided to try pancake bites with some blue berries I had in the refrigerator, I forgot to mix them into the mixture before filling the bite mold, so just threw them on top.  They did not sink to the bottom so they rested on top after cooking, I turned the mold over on a plate to let them cool some and when I went back there was a gorgeous mess of blueberry juice on the plate, I tilted the plate this way and that to get the juice to flow and this happened, I love serendipitous  occurrences and this one made my day.
